Advanced Drilling with Mitani
SE4 partnership with Mitani Sangyo conducted an experiment to develop robotic technology that could improve the efficiency of drilling tasks at a construction site. Better technology is a crucial element for more efficient drilling work.
By utilizing our newest technology, a user could specify the drilling target position on a 3D model of a building or object created on the system called BIM. The robot will independently and automatically move to the target position to execute the command and enable accurate drilling work. This action will eliminate the marking-off and perforation process, therefore reduce the workload and increase work efficiency. In addition, the human operator could manage multiple robots at once and not affected by any communication delay.
SE4 aims to build a future when humans and robots could collaborate in space and develop more innovative technology.
